Our new content tab offers schema.org analysis. The Schema.org initiative aims at “promoting schemas for structured data on the Internet, on web pages, in email messages, and beyond“. Those codes help search engines return more informative results and enrich user’s experience in SERPs. For SEO, this means you can benefit from implementing them. Even if there is no direct relation between a boost in rankings and the integration of these encodings, Schema.org can really help improving your visibility in SERPs.
Indeed, Schema.org helps search engines to understand what your content is all about. For instance, let’s say you have a website with reviews of organisations such as Yelp or Yellowpages. Using the schema.org — Ratings and Organisation for instance — you could get these beautiful rich snippet in SERPs :
You get the attractive stars that will help having a better click through rate and you get an incredible 4th line for your snippet. You get more space and more clicks. Have in mind CTRs are likely to influence your rankings this will end up boost your positions. During the beta test of this release, we saw customers got a better integration of Schema.org through their Crawl reports. We can say that having a proper schema markup helps you rank higher for a lot of different types of content, from articles to restaurants, TV episodes, ratings, book reviews, events, movies, etc. They are many different ones!

Content is meant to be read and shared to a wider audience to grow your visibility. But how to truly optimize your outreach potential? This is where Open Graph comes up. This tag was introduced in 2010 by Facebook to ease integration between its platform and other websites by allowing them to become rich “graph” objects with the same functionality as other Facebook objects. In other words, that meta tag determines how an URL will be displayed on a third-party website. Now, Open Graph is supported by other social medias like LinkedIn or Twitter (even if this last one has developped its own one, the Twitter Cards).
The Open Graph is a great partner to your overall SEO strategy since it can drastically increase your click-through rate and your conversions.
In parallel, the Twitter Cards also help improving your Twitter sharings. This protocol allows tweets containing links to display in a richer format, with more content visible and integrated as part of the tweet.
Twitter provides a number of types of Cards: Photo, Summary, Product, Player, Large Image, Gallery, App and Lead generation.
This tag is really helpful if you are regularly blogging. Actually, this tag is relevant when you are posting links back to your website from your Twitter account. The card makes your tweet expandable and your content is also visible online within Twitter.
As the Open Graph, Twitter Cards are a great way to grow engagement and click-through rate.
We have integrated those data in our new content tab. You can easily check if your Open Graph and Twitter Cards are well setup. The Open Graph has some main tags you should fill up – the og:title, the og:image and the og:type. Then, there are extra ones you can enter, like og:description or og:site_name. Our report clearly draws your Open Graph performances and distribution. And you can still access the URLs details for further information.
Then our Twitter Cards reports display insights about your distribution, your properties and your performances. You can easily check if they are optimized or not and access specific URLs details.
